Who are Pupil Parliament?
Pupil Parliament is a pupil leadership group consisting of elected members from each Pupil Voice Group here at New Inn Primary. Run by Miss Hughes, the Pupil Parliament team meet at least fortnightly to discuss their plans on improving the school. Pupil Parliament members are honest, trust worthy and resilient individuals. They listen to each other and everyone around them, encouraging the sharing of ideas, thoughts and opinions to ensure everyone has a voice which is heard.
This year, the Pupil Parliament have dedicated their action plan to improving standards of Literacy across the school. With the guidance of Miss Hughes, they have started their own action research and enquiry.
Pupil Parliament are keen on promoting children's voices being heard. They have met with Lynne Neagle, our local MS this term, and hope to visit the Senedd in the summer term.
